Welcome to ABRSM Level 1 Lesson 1! Lesson 1 covers the basics of note names and time values. You will also get an opportunity to practice writing the notes if you print out the Lesson Companion. Once you fill out the entire Lesson Companion you can use it as a study guide.

Benjamin comes from a musical family and has been immersed in music since early childhood. He is self-taught in dozens of instruments and musical styles, though his main focus is the classical guitar.

He has more than 10 years of experience teaching instruments and music theory.

Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and currently teaches at Maple Leaf International School, Jinan Campus.
